POSITION VACANT REGIONAL MANAGER

MyCDP are currently seeking to engage a full time Regional Manager to be based in Ngukurr, Northern Territory. The current team are passionate about making a difference and providing economic development and sustainable growth opportunities aligned to community objectives in both regional and remote locations across Australia.

 

My CDP have an opportunity for a Regional Manager to join their team and make a positive difference by managing its regional contractual operations for CDP business activities within the Ngukurr Numbulwar region. This includes but not limited to governance, financial management, human resources, contract management and commercial business development ensuring high performance achievement, continuous improvement, best practice, accountability and growth.

 

You should be self-driven and have the skills to motivate participants, employers, colleagues and other relevant stakeholders. You will also need to embrace and support site-based teams in the development and execution of their specific roles to ensure ’many outcomes for one transaction’.

 

Your duties will include (but not limited too):

 

  • Effectively and efficiently manage compliance and reporting, finance and performance progress ensuring operations are compliant in adhering to CDP and My CDP NN Pty Ltd policies and procedures.
  • Leading the local team in delivery of all CDP functions including high quality activities, case management, employment pathways, industry strategies, job placements, training and the development of a local workforce.

 

To be considered for this role, you will meet the following criteria:

  • Experience in a similar role with a minimum of 3 years’ service, a sound knowledge of People Culture services, community welfare and community development.
  • Strong working knowledge of Indigenous culture and protocols with the ability to comfortably and successfully work within remote communities.
  • Demonstrated organisation and time coordination skills, self- driven, results-orientated with a positive outlook, a clear focus on high quality and efficient marketing activity.
  • A natural forward planner who critically assesses own performance.
  • Ability to interpret and communicate contractual and legislative needs to diverse audiences.
  • Technology literate including sound skills in using Windows based software, Internet, Email.
  • Skills and/or qualifications in Business Management and Project Management.
  • Exceptional understanding of the CDP, guidelines and other Government programs
  • Proven success in managing, leading and coaching teams, implementing operations and maintaining operational performance within the bounds of contractual compliance.
  • Highly developed problem solving, research, conceptual, analytical skills with the ability to develop practical and forward-thinking operational plans and solutions.
  • Excellent communication (written and verbal), consultation, negotiation and leadership and coaching skills.
  • Be self-driven with a strong work ethic to achieve quality results and outcomes.
  • Be an Australian citizen or Permanent resident, with a current open driver’s license.
